With a voter turnout of 44.5%, the 2016 MSU Presidential election is complete. Justin Monaco-Barnes won the election and is President-elect of the McMaster Students Union. The Constitutional referendum concerning a change to the Vice President election format has failed.
In 2015/2016, the Student Life Enhancement Fund generated more than 60 submissions to enhance student life. A shortlist of enhancement ideas has been prepared and is now available for preferential voting by McMaster students. Visit http://enhance.mcmaster.ca to view the shortlist and vote.
The Creating Leadership Amongst Youth (CLAY) Conference is a three-day, two-night leadership conference for high school student delegates from across Hamilton and the GTA, planned and run entirely by full-time McMaster undergraduate students. CLAY is now accepting applications for its numerous volunteer positions.
McMaster University invites nominations for The President’s Award of Excellence (Student Leadership) 2016. The President’s Award of Excellence recognizes students who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in the McMaster student body. Nominations are open to full-time undergraduate students who are in their graduating year.
The Student Health Education Centre (SHEC) is hosting a New Year’s Resolution Fair, in order to support students in achieving their goals. The Fair will be held on Wednesday, January 27 from 10:00am to 2:00pm in the MUSC Atrium. All members of the McMaster community are invited to attend.
