The nomination period for the MSU Presidential Election is now open, ending January 9, 2019 at 5 PM. All MSU members (students enrolled in 18 or more units) are able to nominate themselves for the position.

Students are encouraged to donate new or gently used mittens, scarves, and hats of all sizes to the MSU’s annual Mitten Tree in support of Wesley Urban Ministries. The tree is located in the MSU Office (MUSC 201), and will be awaiting donations on weekdays from 9 AM - 5 PM until December 13.

In October 2018, the Student Representative Assembly received and subsequently passed the MSU’s 2017-2018 audited financial statements, as prepared by KPMG. The complete audited statements of the MSU can be viewed here. The 2017/2018 audit reflects an organization that remains in a healthy fiscal state.

Maccess support groups for the year are beginning the week of November 12. The support groups will take place after-hours in the Maccess space (MUSC B111) and will operate on a drop-in basis. Each support group is run by peers with lived experience in the respective area. No kind of formal diagnosis or disclosure is required to attend a support group.
