The State of the Union includes information on services’ accomplishments, comprehensive financial information, project details, lobbying efforts, and numerous accounts as to how the post-secondary landscape has changed over the last year.
The 4th annual year-end block party is April 9, 2018. Light up the Night will feature thousands of bulbs strung between campus buildings and trees, carnivalesque rides and games, free food vendors, and musical performances, culminating in a fireworks show around 10 PM.
The MSU is currently hiring six Associate Vice-Presidents (AVPs), each chairing a standing committee of the Student Representative Assembly (SRA) and any directly related ad-hoc committees of the SRA. The available Associate Vice-President positions are Services, University Affairs, Internal Governance, Provincial & Federal Affairs, Municipal Affairs, and Finance.
The McMaster Students Union and McMaster University came together to celebrate and honour student leadership at the 38th annual Student Recognition Night. The 2017 MSU Awards were presented to several students, student groups, and other leaders on campus in recognition of their passion and dedication towards improve the experiences of McMaster undergraduates.
From March 21st to Friday, March 23rd at 5pm, voting for SRA Engineering will take place for the remaining four Engineering seats. Students will receive access to an electronic ballot via McMaster email.
This year, MSU Macademics is hosting the MSU Teaching Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, March 21st at 6-8 pm in Council Chambers (Gilmour Hall 111). All students are welcome to attend andcelebrate the incredible educators that have been nominated for their engaging teaching practices. There will be complimentary food for attendees at the event.
