From November 2 - November 3, all MSU members (FT undergrads enrolled in 18+ units or more) will receive a ballot via their McMaster mail account regarding five referenda questions. In addition, MSU members enrolled in Social Sciences will receive a ballot to vote for a candiadte for the one SRA seat available in the Social Science caucus.
The MSU Queer Students C ommunity Centre (QSCC) will be hosting the annual Mac Pride, a weeklong campaign celebrating LGBTQ pride and students at McMaster. It is an opportunity to celebrate and support gender and sexual minorities on campus. A variety of exciting events will take place from October 31 until November 5.
ChangeCampX is launching this November in an effort to move Change Camp Hamilton action recommendations from idea to project. ChangeCampX is a set of theme-specific workshops aimed to encourage participants to develop project-specific plans and related actions, identify potential collaborators, and commit to advancing the project to implementation.
The MSU will be holding it’s first ever Policy Conference on Saturday November 12 as a way for students to be more involved in the MSU’s policy work. This is an opportunity for students to provide their perspective and feedback on policies for the topics of Sexual and Gender Diversity, International Students, and Ancillary Fees. The nomination period for five referenda as well as the SRA by-election are now open, and will run from October 20th until October 27th at 5pm. The referenda questions include two concerncing the Marmor Yearbook, as well as the potential additions of an Exclusive Club Card membership and SoBi bike share membership. Finally, there will be an MSU Constitutional Referendum (VP at-large elections).

This anonymous and confidential phone line and chat service operates seven days a week during night hours, providing access to trained student volunteers who are available to listen without judgment, offer emotional support, and recommend on-campus and off-campus resources that may be helpful to you.
