CFMU 93.3FM is McMaster’s campus/community radio station, owned and operated by the McMaster Students Union. CFMU hosts a variety of radio shows, authors a blog, and also recently have started releasing numerous video series covering local news and music.

Part-time wage grid changes effective January 2018

Recently, the Ontario legislature passed the Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, which included an increase to Ontario’s General minimum wage to $14 per hour in 2018, with another increase to $15 per hour in 2019. As of January 1, 2018 a new wage grid for part-time staff within the McMaster Students Union will come into effect.

De-stressors, events and hours during exam season

McMaster University begins the fall exam period on Friday, December 8.  Office and services across campus will offer expand hours and service delivery during the exam period.  In addition, many departments have de-stressor events planned for the month of December.

Proclamation of the 2018 MSU Presidential Election and Referenda

The nomination period for the MSU Presidential Election is now open, ending January 11, 2018 at 5:00 PM. All MSU members are able to nominate themselves for the position. Nominees must use the Presidential Election Nomination form, which requires 15 signatures of MSU members, and submit the form to the MSU Main Office (MUSC 201) by the deadline on January 11.
