Mac Feedback series: EFRT + Macademics

Each year, several MSU services undergo a review protocol.  Known as a service review, the process includes in-depth evaluation of a service’s operations, policies, and finances. The goal is to modify, improve or affirm the level of service being offered to the students of McMaster University. MSU health & dental insurance opt-out runs until the end of September

Full-time McMaster undergraduate students (those taking 18 or more units) are automatically covered under the MSU Health and Dental Insurance plans. Beginning September 1 and continuing throughout the academic year until August 31, the plans offer benefits ranging from prescription and vision care to dental examinations. The plans are also valid for out-of-province students. Further details of the plans can be found here.

Get to know hundreds of clubs through virtual ClubsFest

This year's ClubsFest will be fully hosted online. Students can participate in virtual ClubsFest via Facebook. Although ClubsFest will look a little different than usual, the Clubs Department hopes to keep students’ spirits high and get everyone involved virtually.

MSU operational updates for fall 2020

As September draws near, the McMaster Students Union continues to plan for a combination of online and in-person service delivery for the fall term. As a general reminder, McMaster University, as well as the City of Hamilton require masks to be worn indoors at all times. Please do not visit the physical campus at this time, unless absolutely necessary to do so. Undergraduate classes are taking place online.

Nominations open for the by-election of the 2020/21 Vice-President (Education)

There will be a by-election held on August 23 for the position of 2020-2021 Vice-President (Education). The Student Representative Assembly (SRA) welcomes nominations from MSU members (full-time undergraduate students), as well as recent graduates (who remain MSU members through the end of August 2020).Any one who wishes to run for the position can nominate themselves by email to the MSU Speaker via speaker@msu.mcmaster.ca.
