Each year, the McMaster Students Union employs nearly 350 students across more than 35 businesses and services. Undergraduate students comprise the vast majority of MSU employees. Registation is now open for Horizons 2013! From August 2nd to August 4th, the McMaster Students Union will host 150 incoming students through the annual Horizons conference. Horizons is a 3-day, 2-night leadership-oriented campus experience exclusively for first year students attending McMaster University in September.
A new mobile app developed by in partnership between McMaster University and the McMaster Students Union (MSU) will allow students, faculty and staff to keep safety and security information in the palm of their hand.
Having grown into a campus staple, Mac Farmstand is set to launch its fourth season June 19th and 20th. Located near the Nina de Velliers Memorial Garden in front of Gilmour Hall / Hamilton Hall, Mac Farmstand will offer a wide variety of locally grown and organic fruits, vegetables, honey and more.
Student union leaders from across Canada will visit McMaster University and Mohawk College between June 17th and June 20th as the McMaster Students Union and the Mohawk Students' Association are proud to co-host Leader's Hall.
During the week of June 17-23, McMaster will be taking part in Pollution Probe’s Clean Air Commute sustainable commuting challenge. During the challenge, students and employees are encouraged to commute to work and/or school in a more sustainable way.
This year, McMaster is aiming for 800 clean air commuters. For your participation to contribute to McMaster reaching this goal, you can register online or at one of the various locations on campus AND log at least one sustainable commute before June 24th.
