Feed the Bus is an annual event run by Mac Bread Bin in order to raise food, awareness and money for local food banks. A large, yellow school bus will be parked on campus near BSB field, where it will be filled with non-perishable food donations from students and staff.
The Student Representative Assembly (SRA) is the governing body of the McMaster Students Union. The SRA is composed of 35 undergraduate students elected by their peers, inside each academic faculty. Nominations are currently open for anyone wishing to run for a position on the Student Representative Assembly. Nomination packages are available for pick-up in the MSU Main Office (MUSC 201) or can be downloaded here.
Orders for the March Good Food Box are due by Friday, February 28th, and can be placed online here, or in-person at the MSU Office.
On March 2nd from 10:30am to 7pm on the second and third floors of the McMaster University Student Centre, ticketholders will have the chance to visit pavilions representing cultures from around the world. Each pavilion includes food and cultural displays of clothing, art and more.
Hamilton's own Monster Truck has exploded onto the rock n' roll scene in 2013 with their full-length album 'Furiosity', and will be performing at TwelvEighty March 1st before they begin a two-month tour of Europe and the United States.
There are approximately 28,500 students at McMaster. At any time in the past 12 months, 2 out of 3 students reported feeling very lonely. Close to one third of university students experience elevated psychological stress, with an alarming number of students considering suicide or self-harm. Let's help one another through the struggle.
