Part-time managers (PTMs) are hired to oversee numerous services offered by the MSU. The positions have a start date of May 1, 2020.

Nominations for the 2020 MSU Awards are now open

Students are encouraged to nominate an individual or a group who has made meaningful contributions to McMaster University for an award. For those nominating someone anonymously, the nominations close January 27, and for those nominating themselves, the nominations close February 5.

De-stressors, events and operating hours during exam season

McMaster University begins the fall exam period on Friday, December 6. Various offices and services across campus offer expanded hours and service delivery during the exam period. In addition, many departments have de-stressor events planned for the month of December.

Proclamation of the 2020 MSU Presidential Election + HSR Bus Pass Referendum

The nomination period for the MSU Presidential Election is open from December 2, 2019 to January 15, 2020 at 5 PM. All MSU members (students enrolled in 18 or more units) are able to nominate themselves for the position. The President serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and acts as the chief spokesperson of the MSU. Nominatons for those who whish to campaign for or against the HSR bus pass referendum are due by January 17.
