Fall is fast approaching and Mac Farmstand is ready to celebrate with its annual Local Food Fest on Wednesday, September 28 from 11am-3pm in Mills Plaza. This free event features local food community partners who are happy to talk about the benefits of eating local. Test your taste buds with a local vs. non-local taste testing booth, and see if you can taste the difference for yourself!
The Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA) will host its bi-annual General Assembly (GA) at Western University from November 4 – 6, 2016. The MSU, as a member of OUSA, will be sending a delegation to this year's Fall General Assembly, where discussions of additions and changes to official OUSA policy will take place. All FT undergraduate students are invited to apply to be members of the MSU's delegation.
Union Market is featuring a limited-time offer of a bagel and 473mL chocolate milk combo for $3 including tax. All purchases of the combo include the chance to win tickets to the Hamilton Tiger Cats vs. Montreal Alouettes CFL game on Saturday November 5th, 2016. Maccess is the newest MSU service, launching its operations in September 2016. MSU Maccess will focus its efforts on advocacy, support and community building for students who experience disability. During the week of September 19 - 24, Maccess will host a a Cupcake Social on Wednesday, as well as a photo campaign - Humans of Maccess - throughout the week on its Facebook page.
MACycle and Security Services are bringing back the annual bike auction. This year's will be Tuesday 20 September 2016, 10am-2pm, in front of Mills Library.
