On April 18 and 19, the Student Representative Assembly (SRA) elected the MSU Vice Presidents and Speaker for 2020-2021. Along with MSU President-elect Giancarlo Da-Ré, the incoming Vice Presidents will form the next Board of Directors and will take office on May 1, 2020. Also elected over the weekend was the MSU Speaker, whom will preside over the bi-weekly meetings of the SRA. Click here to access the elections that took place remotely.

Recently, the Executive Board of the MSU approved changes to the MSU Clubs operating policies, in a comprehensive effort to address concerns relating to the Clubs Department’s ratification process, judicial & recognition policies, and departmental resources. These policy chances will take effect immediately, however the clubs ratification process, currently underway for September 2020, will not be impacted.

On April 16, there will be a series of online meetings with the candidates for the MSU Vice President (VP) positions and MSU Speaker, open for students to access. The Q&A periods for the separate positions will be happening in four separate periods via Zoom.

The Library’s online resources includes over 1.4 million titles, encompassing 100,000 e-journals and over 6000,000 e-books are available 24/7 with a MAC ID login. Articles and chapters from print journal volumes or books in print from Mills, Innis, and Thode Libraries can also be scanned and delivered electronically to students.
